Gangsters on Foursquare

Foursquare is one of our favorite social networks. Their badges (and the language they use to describe them) are hip, well-designed and often surprising, and it’s always super fun to use. It’s also really useful for saving places you’ve been, and is more global than Yelp. And not to brag or anything, but our Foursquare business page is one of the top pages in the Seattle area (other big ones are Windows Live Photo Gallery, The Seattle Times, Seattle Sounders FC, Seattle Seahawks, Seattle Weekly, and the Seattle Mariners, and we’re the most liked of all the social media agencies, incl. Goliaths like Big Fuel and Social @Ogilvy.

  • One thing that would be sweet though is to let users search the places they’ve been by city. I’m in SF right now, and yesterday I was trying to remember the name of somewhere I went while I was here hanging out a couple of years ago, but there’s no search function and it would only let me browse back to January 2012.

  • And by Foursquare we mean… Swarm 😛
