DocuSign, the market leader in digital signatures, had already built several high-quality digital tools to make it easy for their customers to sign documents while on the go. We were charged with concepting a fun way to show people how easy it is to sign online. We devised “Perceptive or Pompous,” a signature analysis app that also uses data from your social media profiles to generate your very own personal infographic.

Two challenges: rebuild DocuSign’s flawless signature app for the mobile web and integrate with the Salesforce API for data collection. Our app lets users draw, photograph or choose their signature, analyzes it on a matrix for direction, amplitude, flourishes, etc., and pairs that analysis with data scraped from social APIs to serve a highly personalized, dynamic, often funny infographic tailored to your weirdest personality quirks.

Reveals Personality & Style”

Marilyn Monroe’s signature indicates that she was outgoing and expressive. Yet the narrow letters and spacing between letters show that she habitually held back her true feelings.
